Insights of Advocates for DACA Participants during Policy Twists and Turns from 2012 – 2022


DACA@10 is a research project focused on the perspectives of DACAeligible support staff (e.g., educators, legal attorney, social workers, advocates). Advocates have unique knowledge and experience about the goals, policies, practices, and consequences of DACA as it approaches its 10th year. This study explores personal and organizational experiences, DACA policy, and improving immigration legislation moving forward.


ADVOCATES

Advocates know the twists & turns of the DACA policy journey. They provide critical supports to DACA recipients throughout their journey.

CHANGE

As we continue moving toward changing and mobilizing on issues related to DACA, the work of advocates must be amplified.

RESEARCH

We are researchers interested in the human cost & potential of the policy. This project highlights the knowledge & experience of advocates supporting DACA participants.
